all about orange!

 

We have learned another color in the rainbow. We learned all about the color Orange.  We experimented with paint and saw that red and yellow made orange.

Triangles

Back in school and already busy learning something new!
We learned a new shape - triangle. We started our day by playing with goop. We each got a turn to practice making a triangle in our special triangle mats.
By circle time, we learned that a triangle has three sides. We learned a triangle song and traced a triangle with our fingers while singing.

Then we practice making triangles with Popsicle sticks. Afterwards, we took our Popsicle sticks to the table and glued it in the shape of a triangle. We then picked two colorful triangles from our special basket and also glued them on our paper.

Play time

We started our day by coloring with all different orange tools. Crayons, markers, chalk, and dot markers.

Our friends really enjoy the train set from Nikolas birthday party and the magnetiles from Daniella.

By circle time, Morah Perel brought out our two puppet friends Benny and Leah. We reviewed how we ask each other for a turn with a toy. We also saw how good friends like Benny and Leah help each other. We each got a turn to help Benny and Leah. By play time, the Morahs saw the children using the words and behaviors we learned.

Grocery store

We learned about the grocery store. We discussed how the store keeper helps us in the grocery store. We took a walk to the grocery store. We looked around and saw that the grocery store sells different foods to eat. We then looked for foods that are our new color orange!
