Play time
Our friends really enjoy the train set from Nikolas birthday party and the magnetiles from Daniella.
By circle time, Morah Perel brought out our two puppet friends Benny and Leah. We reviewed how we ask each other for a turn with a toy. We also saw how good friends like Benny and Leah help each other. We each got a turn to help Benny and Leah. By play time, the Morahs saw the children using the words and behaviors we learned.

Painting!
On Thursday, we had a lot of fun painting on our easel!
On Wednesday we had fun working on our fine motor skills while peeling our own clementine for breakfast.
Learning Aleph Beis
After Chanukah, we went on to learn the first Hebrew letter of our name. We also began our unit on “Community.” In this unit, we learn all about our “Neighborhood helpers.” We learned that everyone has a special job and helps each other. Our first neighborhood helper is the rabbi. The rabbi takes care of the shul/synagogue.
We went to our shul next door. Rabbi Dovid showed us where the Torah is kept. He took out one Torah and we each got a turn to see our Hebrew letter in the Torah. Afterwards, we davened in the shul. Our “chazzan” got to stand up high just like a real chazzan in shul!
Chanukah party!
Thank you parents for joining us at our Chanukah party! The children really enjoyed singing along with you. I still hear our Chanukah songs being sung during playtime.

Learning Aleph Beis
Today, each child decorated their letter with dot markers.
Later on, we took a walk around our neighborhood. We started to notice all the different people in our neighborhood that help us out. We saw a fire truck, a mail carrier and a package deliverer. We discussed who helps the children in school and who helps the children at home.
We can't wait to learn and discover more!

Busy, Busy kids!
We’ve been learning all about Chanukah and getting ready for our Chanukah party next week! We started decorating our dreidel costumes.
Our menorahs are almost complete and we’ve been singing chanukah soyengs and listening to chanukah music.
We’ve been becoming much more social and friendly to each other. We really have some silly times by playtime and by the playground.
Tali is looking at her Chanukah sticker she got for cleaning up so well!
